On Tuesday, Jenny, me, Julie, and Julie's boyfriend Kenny went to the beach at Boca Chica. We rented a table under some umbrellas and had fresh fried fish from the sea. (They totally ripped us off... I told Jenny we should buy from another vendor but she insisted! We ended up paying close to $60 for our day at the beach.)After eating, we spent most of the day in the water. The Carribean Sea is warm and the beach that we were at, Boca Chica, has clean white sand, no waves, and the water is only chest deep for 100 meters!

It is insane that you are having such nice weather. The water is soooooooooooo blue. Wow! You guys are very lucky.
I forgot...Jared, tell Jenni thank you for the Christmas message and for the address to your blogs. I have added a link from my site so I can check you guys out once in awhile. I looked at Jenni's blog, but couldn't understand much so it probably won't be visited by me often.
It looks like you guys are having a great time. Eat some of that great looking food for me.

Thanks for the comments Dan. Jenny says "your welcome". The weather down here has been incredible. It's been really hot and humid but we've been really comfortable. The water is super clear and the nicest blue. The photos don't do it justice! (The sun was so bright that it drowned out a lot of the colors.) The food here is great. We're excited about dinner on the 31st because we're eating that pig!
Mike said...Your mom is excited about hearing from you. We're going to try to get Sam to help us view your other photos. It has been great weather here too. We have been hiking and playing ultimate frizbee! Sam and Jessica got lost in the foothills. We went home and called them on the cell phone and then had to go back up and pick them up!
